MENASHA, Wis. – Affinity Health System has named Vincent Gallucci senior vice president of Corporate Services. Gallucci will oversee Affinity’s marketing, business development and communication functions, in addition to his previous responsibilities with Human Resources, Organizational Development, Legal and LEAN Performance Excellence.
Marketing is not new to Gallucci. Before joining Affinity in February 2005, Gallucci was responsible for the creative direction, sales and marketing, promotions, sponsorship and overall general management of the Lands’ End business to business catalog division. Under Gallucci’s direction at Lands’End, the company launched the Lands’ End Gift Card, expanded a field sales presence and integrated key strategic sponsorships related to the Lands’ End brand, based in Dodgeville, Wis.
In his new role, Gallucci will work with Affinity’s brand image as well as employee relations, which is a trend in service-focused organizations. “An organization’s brand image is its promise to the community and its customers,” Gallucci said. “As we continue to shape our brand image with employees, we can better tell the Affinity story so that the residents of Northeast Wisconsin know how better care begins at Affinity.”
In a competitive health care marketplace such as the Fox Valley, the continued success for Affinity to express and demonstrate a value to its patients is most important, says Daniel E. Neufelder, Affinity Health System president and chief executive officer. “Our reputation in the communities we serve reach back more than 100 years; bringing the areas which most critically have impact on our brand under one executive who’s done this work before simply makes sense.” Neufelder said. “Our effort to strengthen our presence in the community is a key priority.”
Before joining Affinity, Gallucci was senior vice president of Human Resources and Organizational Development for Provantage Health Services in Milwaukee; and manager of Organizational Development and Human Resources for Capital District Physicians’ Health Plan, Inc., in Albany, NY.
Gallucci earned his bachelor’s degree from Long Island University, New York, and a master’s degree in industrial/organizational psychology from the University of New Haven in West Haven, Conn.
