Franciscan Care names new administrator

APPLETON, Wis. – Sandy Creech has been named administrator of Franciscan Care & Rehabilitation Center, Appleton. Creech, who served as assistant administrator of the facility from 1994 to 1998, has been interim administrator since November.

Franciscan Care & Rehabilitation Center, a member of Affinity Health System, provides long-term care, rehabilitation, hospice and therapy programs for people in the Fox Cities. The 200-bed facility specializes in caring for the elderly and temporarily disabled, and it includes a specialized care unit for Alzheimer’s patients.

Creech, who has worked for Affinity Health System for seven years, has 20 years of experience in the nursing home industry, including 10-plus years as an administrator. Prior to being named interim administrator, Creech was administrator of the subacute nursing units at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton and Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh.
