Affinity names three service line directors

MENASHA, Wis. – Affinity Health System has named directors for three newly created health service lines: Neurosciences, Orthopaedics and Diabetes.

These three service lines join the existing service lines of Heart & Lung, Cancer Care and Women & Families as key growth areas for Affinity Health System over the next three years. “We are quickly becoming known as the leader in Neurosciences, Orthopaedics and Diabetes care,” says Michael Hanson, chief operating officer for Affinity Medical Group. “By elevating these three service lines, we’re making a commitment to provide even better care for patients here in Northeast Wisconsin.”

  • Mike Drees has been named director of Neuroscience Services. Drees, who has served in a number of clinical and management positions at Affinity for the past 23 years, currently is manager for the Mercy Creekside, Mercy Oakwood, Ripon and Winneconne practices. Drees earned his bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, and his master’s degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.
  • Deborah Anderson has been named director of Orthopaedic Services. Anderson comes to Affinity from Agnesian HealthCare, where she had been director of Corporate and Rehabilitation Services for the last nine years. Prior to that, she served as a staff/home health physical therapist at Mercy Medical Center from 1993 to 1996. Anderson received her bachelor’s degree in physical therapy from Ohio State University, Columbus, and her master’s degree in public administration from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.
  • Julie Reynolds has been named director of Diabetes. Previously, Reynolds has been a nurse supervisor with Affinity. Reynolds received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Wisconsin Green Bay.
