Who is considered an eligible dependent?
Spouses and unmarried children, step-children, adopted children, and grandchildren (if the dependent parent is covered under NHP and until the parent reaches the age of 18) are all considered eligible dependents. Domestic partners and children of domestic partners are not eligible for coverage.
