Yes, PCP changes are allowed at any time. Members may call Customer Service and they can take that change right over the phone. Although PCP changes are allowed at any given time, NHP highly stresses the importance of establishing a strong provider-patient relationship with one PCP who will be familiar with your health. In addition, if the PCP is familiar with your health, they can better recommend appropriate treatment and assist in obtaining necessary medical care from a specialist.
