Wheaton Franciscan Services, Inc.
The Wheaton Franciscan Services, Inc. is a 50 percent owner of Affinity Health System. The Wheaton Franciscan Sisters established St. Elizabeth Hospital in November 1899 and have been providing health care and spiritual aid to Fox Valley residents for more than 100 years. The Wheaton Franciscan Sisters are the sponsoring Catholic community for more than 100 health and shelter organizations across the country committed to human and community development. These organizations are located in Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa and Colorado. The Sisters’ facilities in Wisconsin collectively comprise the largest health care system in the state, including Covenant Health Care in Milwaukee.
