Medicare Advantage Plans Receive a 4.5 Star Rating

Menasha, Wis. - Network Health Insurance Corporation Medicare Advantage plans with Part D coverage have received a composite 4.5 star rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). The 5-star rating system is used by CMS to monitor plans to ensure that they meet Medicare’s quality standards. The ratings provide Medicare beneficiaries with a tool to compare the quality of care and customer service that Medicare health and drug plans offer.

The overall score for quality of health services covers 36 different topics in five categories:
- Staying healthy
- Managing chronic conditions
- Ratings of health plan responsiveness and care
- Health plan member complaints and appeals
- Health plan telephone customer services
