Network Options

Some companies that have employees who live outside the primary Network Health service area add the Network Options program through Network Health. This program gives them access to an extensive nationwide network of healthcare professionals, hospitals and healthcare facilities. Network Options participants have the PHCS logo is displayed on the front of their cards as shown below.

When Network Options participants are looking for a participating provider, the first step is to determine whether they are within or outside of our primary service area.

Within Selected Wisconsin Counties

Network Options participants who are traveling or located within one of these Wisconsin counties, can find a participating provider by following these steps:

  1. Go to Find a Doc/Location page
  2. Choose the HMO/POS network from the first drop down field
  3. Select additional search criteria and click the Search button

Within Other Wisconsin Counties and Outside Wisconsin

Network Options participants traveling or located outside Wisconsin or in a Wisconsin county not listed above can find participating providers by searching the primary MultiPlan network:

  1. Go to www.multiplan.com
  2. Follow the prompts to enter your search criteria

If their provider isn't listed in this search, they can also search the secondary MultiPlan network.

If Network Options participants don't have access to a computer, they can receive information about PHCS participating providers by calling the PHCS Customer Service Department at 866-680-7427, Monday through Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. (Eastern Time). They should identify themselves as a health plan participant accessing the PHCS and Multiplan networks. If they have additional questions about accessing PHCS or Multiplan providers in their area or have questions about their benefits, they should contact our Customer Service department.
